while they were hype when they were dropped in 2005. The uniquely colored shoe featured a mostly black leather base, complimented by an eye-catching shade of green known as Altitude. While sneakerheads were surprised to find out that the green-accented Retro 13 was making a return this year, we were even more surprised when we found out that the shoe was returning with a significant change. Instead of the leather side panels we saw on the original, the ballistic nylon panels commonly seen on Jordan 13s work the sides of the new retro. Otherwise, you have a shoe that maintains most of its original characteristics. The Holiday 2010 release date should give you enough time to decide whether or not you like the changes.

Bodega x VANS Chukka LX "Real Tree"

In opinion I think these shit are pretty tuff tho.Boston based boutique Bodega blows us away yet again with their latest collaboration with VANS. Working on the Chukka LX, the folks over at Bodega went for the outdoorsman-inspired look working with very earthly tones and a real tree print. A rich olive suede is seen working the upper, along with gold eyelets and corded hiking laces. Additionally, a subtle "real tree" camo print is used on the inner lining, adding a nice touch to the outdoorsman-inspired Chukka Boot.

As with any special release, Bodega is also treating us to some goodies. Included with each pair will be a Bodega utility knife, Zippo lighter and a can cozy thats perfect for an ice cold PBR. The Bodega x VANS Chukka Lx "Real Tree" is limited to 150 pairs, and will release October 23rd exclusively at Bodega and their online webstore.
